Return Policy – Raïsa Hair Co
Raïsa Hair Co complies with European consumer legislation
(Directive 2011/83/EU and Articles 6:230g through 6:230z of the Dutch Civil Code).
We place great importance on quality, hygiene, and transparency. Please read this return policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Cooling-Off Period (14 Days)
For online purchases, you are entitled to a 14-calendar-day cooling-off period to withdraw from your purchase without providing a reason (“right of withdrawal”).
This period begins on the day after you receive your order.
To exercise this right, you must notify us within 14 days by email, including your order number and a request to initiate a return.
2. Hygiene & Product Condition
Due to hygiene reasons, hair products such as wigs, hair extensions, closures, and bundles, may only be returned if they are:
- unused
- unworn
- unwashed
- unaltered
- in their original condition and packaging
Customers are allowed to inspect the product to assess its nature and quality, as they would in a physical store.
However, for hygiene reasons, the product must not be worn, styled, washed, or otherwise used. Any use beyond inspection may result in refusal of the return or a deduction in value.
The customer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
3. Custom-Made Products
Some products at Raïsa Hair Co are custom-made to order, including U-Part wigs, V-Part wigs, and 250g wigs.
These products are specifically produced based on individual customer orders and are not pre-made or held in stock. For this reason, they cannot be resold to other customers.
Therefore, custom-made products are excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 6:230p sub c BW.
As a result, these items cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless there is a verifiable manufacturing defect.
Any issues should be reported as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery, including clear photos of the product and packaging. All claims are subject to review.
By placing an order for a custom-made product, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to these terms.
4. Sale Items
Sale items are subject to the same return conditions.
Returns are only accepted if the product is:
- unused and in original condition
- or defective or incorrectly delivered
5. Conditions for Returns
Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:
- The return is requested within the 14-day cooling-off period
- The product is unused and in original condition
- The product has not been worn, styled, washed, or altered
Items that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to a deduction in value.
6. Registering a Return
To request a return, you must email within the cooling-off period, including:
- your order number, name, and address
- a short explanation (optional)
- photos of the product and packaging

Once approved, you will receive return instructions.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed or legally required.
Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
7. Inspection and Refunds
After receiving and inspecting the returned item, you will be notified of the outcome.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days after the withdrawal request, but we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or proof that they have been sent back.
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
If the product shows signs of use or damage, a deduction may be applied in accordance with applicable law.
